Minori design is a small online shop based in the UK showcasing the work of Theresia Cookson who specializes in making vintage style dolls inspired by the 60's and Japanese crafts.

I have named my web site Minoridesign, because of my love for Japan. Minori means 'Harvest', which is my name in Japanese.

I try to use vintage patterns together with vintage or vintage style fabrics to make the dolls in order to get that authentic 60's / 70's look and feel..

I am also planning to provide a range of handcrafted beautiful accessories for the home such as totes, purses, bags and other things!

Each item is made with lots of love and careful attention to detail. Many of the dolls are made using genuine vintage or vintage style fabrics, notions and trims.

Please bear in mind that the items may vary from the picture as they are all individually handmade. However I do endeavour to use fabrics and materials that are as close as possible in terms of colour and pattern to the ones used for each of the featured items.
